oh lancaster, lancaster is like 2 hour drive to north from LA. lancaster was the first city i lived in when i moved to LA. i was living with my cousin's family before i moved to pasadena for school. that was in 2002.

these pics were taken in 2012 when i went back to lancaster to see poppy flowers at the poppy reserve.

because i saw it on huell howser's california's gold on kcet, which i loved so much, also visiting with huell howser...

he passed away in 2013. so sad, he was such a great guy. you can still see him on kcet youtube. you will fall in love.

but as you can see, it was in july...

no flowers whatsoever hahahaaa

i didn't know poppy flowers blossom only in march thru may...

i was like i'm still gonna be happy yay lol

it was actually really kinda nice in the desert, super quiet and peaceful.

it was so beautiful even without poppy flowers.

i was such a happy soul, i don't think i've lost that part of me, but forgot about it and it's still inside of me somewhere, and i've been trying to find my happy self back, these happy pics and blogging about it helps a lot.😀

and of course, these music i love helps me a lot too.

i watched this movie "easy rider" on netflix in 2019 and immediately became one of my favorite movie of all time!

it's an old movie but such a badass movie you must watch it, if you are a badass or you were born to be wild!

the intro of this movie is so badass omg gave me goosebumps, i know i'm weird but seriously watch it!!!

my adhd brain lead me from lancaster to to this movie lol but hey come on, it's desert so it's related, kind of...hahahaaa..i was actually gonna post hotel california by eagles which is one of my absolute favorite song since i was a teenager.

but i think this song is more fitting... because...
